This year we had the opportunity to visit the International Window Coverings Expo 2026, one of the largest and most inspiring events in the window coverings industry.

For us, IWCE is always much more than just an exhibition. It is a chance to see new collections in person, touch and compare materials, speak directly with manufacturers, discover upcoming trends, and bring fresh inspiration back to our clients and projects.

New Fabrics

One of the biggest highlights this year was the incredible variety of new drapery fabrics. We saw many beautiful natural textures, soft organic color palettes, linen blends, and elegant earthy tones that fit perfectly with the Pacific Northwest aesthetic. There were also many new prints, patterns, and layered textures that add depth and character to interiors.

Hardware

Another exciting part of the show was the large number of innovations in hardware and motorization systems. From modern minimal track systems to advanced smart-home integration solutions, the industry continues moving toward cleaner design and more functional automation.

Trims & Tassles

We also loved exploring the world of trims, tassels, decorative tapes, and custom finishing details. These elements may seem small, but they can completely transform the final look of drapery and make each project feel unique and highly customized.

Outdoor Living

In addition to drapery, the exhibition featured a wide range of shades, blinds, and outdoor solutions. Outdoor living continues to grow in popularity, and it was exciting to see new materials and systems designed for comfort, durability, and seamless indoor-outdoor living.

One of the most valuable parts of IWCE is the opportunity to build relationships, ask questions directly to vendors, collect samples, and carefully select products that we can confidently recommend to our clients.
